Couple visiting from Ireland.It was very cold when we rode (2 degrees C) and very windy so conditions were naturally a little tough!We booked a 2 hour ride at the beach and forest but did not see the beach, only the forest. Our guide was very friendly and it is likely that it was too cold to go to the beach. The forest was lovely and relaxing though!Perhaps a little more discussion with the guide might have been nice to clear up why we did not visit the beach, and help us to learn more about the horses and the surrounding areas. It also seems that if you are not experienced with riding, you will not learn anything beyond the most basic steps and will not be able to trot unless you already know how to. That is fair.Overall even in adverse weather this tour is very nice for tourists looking to get out of the city for a few hours and we do recommend :)
I go sledding out there, they are nice and there are some nice horses for sure, a good place where you learn a lot

Herewith my warmest recommendation. The 3 of us went on a guided 2-hour tour on a windy and rainy autumn day, and (nevertheless) had a really nice, beautiful and fun trip. The guide quickly sensed our level and adjusted the tour accordingly. We saw horses and equipment well looked after, and the staff nice and committed.

All reviews confirm that this place is also excellent with the animals, so I guess the cold customer service was a problem of a bad moment.UPDATE AFTER THE COMPANY'S RESPONSE:You didn't offer any alternative transport, don't lie. You had a very rude attitude and no desire to solve the problem. That's my main complaint, because even if I was going to be only 8 minutes late, I understand that it was my fault. You got my money with no effort and for 60 Euros without any service you could at least show less arrogance or apathy. I hope you treat the horses better.ORIGINAL MESSAGE (STILL VALID):For people who work with 'equestrian therapy', the customer service is rather cold and lacks empathy. I made a mistake with the bus connection (it's not easy to get there by public transport in the morning, maybe because it's Sunday) and I felt that the willingness to help in this situation was zero. I booked a private two person ride with my daughter; she rides I don't.The owner told me when I got there it would be at my pace with no possibility for my daughter to canter or trot, i.e. actually ride. This was heartbreaking for her who had looked forward to this for weeks. The 'ride' was lovely and the guide competent though never said more than five words. I don't think the logic held up for why they couldn't allow my daughter to run. It would be hard on my horse to wait, they said. I think horses love to wait and eat grass. I suggest a note on the website that if private lessons are chosen they will be at the most inexperienced rider's pace.
Went on a beautiful 2hr ride through the woods and along the beach side. Amazing! My guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and we chatted about the differences between riding in the States vs Denmark. If you can, do it!
Perfect place for riders of all experience levels. The horses were selected based on riding experience and personality. Before the ride, you could prepare the horses yourself and get help if you needed it. The ride was super nice and at a reasonable pace. Horses and facility looked very well cared for and the animals are apparently lovingly cared for.If I go on holiday in the area again, I will definitely come back.
Fantastic experience!The instructor was very pleasant and selected horses for us based on our personality and our previous experience with horses, so that we got a horse that matched us.We got to help collect the horses, brush them and saddle them up before we went out for a walk.Really cozy horse ride and an absolute must have experience if you are in Denmark and like horses!Will definitely come back next time I'm in Denmark.
It was an amazing time. I signed up for the 2 hr canter tour and I got my money’s worth for sure. The horses were a joy to ride and our guide was super helpful and professional. The trails were lovely and very safe. We even got to the beach. I would so recommend them for anyone looking to enjoy a ride in nature.

My 12 year old daughter and I had a wonderful ride here while on vacation from California. The surroundings are beautiful, the horses are sweet and happy and well-loved, the staff friendly and funny, and we had a great time cantering through the forests. Highly recommend this to anyone and would do it again if back in Copenhagen some day.

Best horseback riding trip ever!We celebrated our 10th Anniversary with this fantastic experience riding two beautiful, unique Icelandic horses! Our tour guide Mette was always very attentive and helpful. We booked the service “pick up” from the hotel, which gave us a chance to talk more to Mette and get more information for example about the horses, the horse farm and their, in my opinion, very healthy view of horsemanship. It was also noticeable when we arrived, we saw that the horses were doing very well, were happy and very well cared for. Another thing we appreciated a lot was that there was plenty of time to help groom the horses and spend time with them. My husband had a more calm horse, but I got a horse with a big loving personality... love at first sight, I can say!We had booked the two hour tour and we got to experience wonderful nature with elements of interesting vegetation and animal life. Furthermore, we took a coastal path along the sea shore. Our tour guide always Mette always checked with us if everything was okay, but also told us many things about what we passed in the forest.This riding tour made such great memory for us and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. My daughter has been coming to rideat CPH ride for a few years now. She loves the calm horses, the beautiful rides and the patient teachers. Today she came back from a ride happy and tired but also filled with lovely memories stating it was so beautiful. We can only recommend Lennas place. It fills the soul just right.
Our kids went on a lead rein ride during our holiday. Nice change from the regular holiday activities of theme parks or museums. The location is beautiful, lots of trees and forest trails. The horses are so gentle and sweet. We arrived early and the kids got to brush down the horses before the ride. The woman who brought then was very kind and patient, asking questions and just chatting away with the kids in English. I am so impressed by how well everyone speaks English here. She also gave us a great tip for lunch nearby.Highly recommend it.

I had an amazing time, I was visiting for a few days in Copenhagen, and definitely wanted to do some horse riding there. The horses are very chilled and easily "manageable", and everyone who works there was just lovely. They are very flexible and patient as well, I was delayed 5 minutes, but they very patiently waited for me. I can only recommend, and I will definitely be back! :)
I never rode a horse before and this is the best horse riding experience i ever had in my life, feels Extremely pleasant and raw experience! 3 star because:1. i was expecting the ride by the beach at least, and walk into the water as advertise by their website. Very disappointed with the organizer for not bringing us to the best part that i am most looking forward to, which is the beach walking. The organizer should have told, or ask us prior to the ride. Felt cheated by the advertisement.2. with the price you have paid, at least they should have 1 rider to take pictures or video to document the beautiful riding experience because obviously as a 1st time rider , i would want that and not safe to use my phone during the ride.However do not let down by it because the OVERALL experience was extremely surreal and paradise!! would definitely recommend this therapy eventhough u have never ride a horse before in your life. The horses are very gentle and lovely =), what an experience!!!

Excellent! Beautiful and well-kept Icelandic horses, stunning countryside for your trek and friendly helpful instruction. I am an experienced horse rider in the UK but had to learn a slightly different style of riding here. Lenna is a brilliant teacher. I will definitely go again!
